  • Time is of the essence and we never seem to have enough. That’s where planning must come in to make sure we accomplish important tasks of the day. It’s easy to say, “I'm going to exercise this week" and it only happens once or twice, if that. What we should say is, "I'm going to start the week out right and exercise at 6:00pm on Monday for 30 minutes”. Then we must write it down.

  • Write it ALL Out
Take it a step further and write down everything that you do for your work out. It’s a great tool to look back on and see how frequently you are really working out and/or how you can change your routine so your body does not get too efficient. It’s also a good motivator to keep you running faster or lifting more or doing more reps.

So keep a journal to plan your work-outs and then write them out as you do them. Make this a habit, follow your plan and working out will become a habit.
