Get Some Sleep People!!!You know you need it

  • Sleep is GOOD for the Body
  • Sleep is just as important to our health as diet and exercise. When we sleep, many of our body's biochemical and physiological process take place. So when we sleep well, we wake up feeling refreshed, alert and ready to face daily challenges. And when we don’t, our productivity, relationships, health and safety (including those around us) are all put at risk.

  • Get the 3 Sleeps
1) getting ENOUGH sleep

2) getting CONTINUOUS sleep

3) getting QUALITY sleep

These will contribute to how we feel and perform the next day. How do you know if you’re getting enough sleep? Well if you feel sleepy the next day, then you’re not getting enough. And if sleepiness disrupts your daily activities in any way, then you probably need more sleep. Sleep experts generally recommend an average of 7-9 hours per night. Some people can perform at their best with less while others may need 10 hours to feel alert the next day. Sleep requirements can vary over your life cycle. So basically, we have to know our bodies to know how much sleep is best.

When we don’t get enough sleep or when we sleep at odd hours, it heightens our risk for a variety of major illnesses, like cancer, heart disease, diabetes and obesity.

So grab your feather pillow, lay on your comfy bed and get some sweet sleep!
